I've been having a very hard time of things. The Cough has returned after I ran out of meds from my hospital visit. It's torturous - sleep for thirty seconds, maybe five or ten minutes, wake up coughing. Repeat for a couple hours, when finally it dies down enough to sleep for an hour or two at a time.
Try cough syrup. Try an inhaler. Try cough suppressants both over the counter and prescription. Try a different inhaler. Try different cough syrup. Try drops. Try gum. Some of them may even seem to help for a little bit. The steroids during chemo and for a couple days after will help. Go to the hospital and receive pain medication that helps. Finally, something.
Except it's opioids and good luck getting more.
Money is also a thing and I will be out of state funds by the end of the month. The employer-based funds I get are also about half of what I thought they would be. I would be well enough to work sometimes if it wasn't for this cough.
So anyway, I'm thinking about cutting my chemo short and hoping for the best. So I can finally deal with this situation and make some money.
I'm not feeling good. This is hard. And I'm losing my eyebrows.
